Meet the Dentist

Premier Dental Arts, located in the Quakerbridge Shoppes on 3800 Quakerbridge Rd. in Hamilton, NJ, is the state of the art dental office started by Dr. Charles Wu. After searching many possible locations, he happily settled in Mercer County due to its central location to Princeton, Philadelphia and New York, and for the county's diverse and multicultural population. Dr. Wu now calls Mercer County home.

Dr. Wu is dedicated to providing the best care possible, giving each of his patients personal attention and employing the latest advanced techniques and quality materials available. Some of the technologies featured in the office include digital x-rays, which provides better image quality than regular film while using 90% less radiation. Also featured are nitrous oxide sedation for anxious patients, in-office whitening, electric motor driven root canal system, which makes the process faster and more comfortable, and tooth colored fillings. Patients no longer have to settle for unsightly silver in their mouths.

Dr. Wu is continually keeping pace with the latest advancements as they are being developed. Dr. Wu performs many of the cosmetics procedures made popular on television makeover shows, such as porcelain veneers, implants, and Invisalign, which uses clear trays to straighten teeth instead of traditional metal braces.

Dr. Wu immigrated to the U.S. from Taiwan at a young age. He attended Stuyvesant High School in New York City where he excelled in math and science. Dr. Wu earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and his dental degree from SUNY Stonybrook in Long Island. Dr. Wu completed his residency at New York Hospital of Queens focusing on oral surgery and implant dentistry.

Before settling in Mercer County, Dr. Wu worked at several offices in the Tri-State area and has had the opportunity to work alongside many of the area's top dentists. He also believes in giving back to the community and has conducted dental health outreach programs to elementary and middle schools. Dr Wu enjoys teaching kids about better dental hygiene, as well as educating them about the many great things the dental profession has to offer.
